The club is a great place for those comfortable with mixed media to work on their own projects while also having me available to answer questions or provide guidance on new techniques. We have a fantastic time and learn a lot from each other. I bring various mediums, including paint, stencils, paste, collage materials, and more. In this class, you’ll create five cards of varying sizes and featuring different images. First, we’ll learn a fun and easy mixed media background using inks and stamps. The images are whimsical characters from Art by Marlene. I’ll bring color-copied images, so you don’t need to color them yourself. We’ll use Tim Holtz’s whimsy Tree Die. Please bring a kraft mat, a blending tool with extra foam (we sell blender tools if you don’t have one), scissors, glue of your choice, and if you have pop dots, bring those as well.
