Every year I do a project with this adorable rabbit from an old Tim Holtz stamp set, so of course I would use him in my clock.
I took the clock apart and embossed some metal foil from Ranger. This foil is perfect to cover the clock because it has an adhesive back.
I painted the foil with Paper Artsy fresco paint “LOVE THIS PAINT”! When it was dry I covered all the pieces of the clock and put it back together, minus the glass. I added a industrial border from Ideaology around the face of the clock.
Its hard to capture the fence inside. There is a wood picket fence in back that I distressed with crackle texture paste and vintage photo distress spray. I glued flowers from Tim Holtz botanical ephemera behind the fence and in front. I white washed a clock face and hung it in the back.
I added a fluffy bow to the side and hung several fun charms. I applied Finnabair metallic wax to the metal on the clock to bring out the embossed design.
Hope you enjoyed. All the clocks are on display in the store. You are welcome to come in, take pictures and ask us how we made them, we would love to help.
Have a great creative week,
