Coloring with Copic Markers for Quick Cards – with Melody

I love coloring with my Copic Markers. I am busy like everyone else and there are times a friend needs a pick me up or my kids needs an I love you. I will need a quick card to send off. So, when I am in the mood to color I will stamp images several times and color all the images at once. I will also make or cut out backgrounds. Then I will die cut the images and put the pieces away until I need to make a quick card.

I made four quick cards using Stampingbella Stamp Images and Dies…

This first card is called Grumpy Squidgy. She is cute and is easy to color. A great stamp for someone having a bad day. Stamp several images, color, die cut and put away to make a quick
card. All you will need is an A2 card in whatever color you want and add an interesting pattern paper to the card. Check out pattern papers when you are at the Crafty Scrapper. There are a lot of great pattern papers that would look good on any card.

This cutie is called Smoochie Squidgy. She is another cutie that is fun to color. On this stamp, I colored the little girl and on her dress, I used a Sharpie Poster Paint Pen extra fine to make the dots. When coloring a stamped image giving it a special touch such at the dots just makes the card that much more exciting. I stamped open hearts onto the A2 card and colored them in with a red Copic Marker. I didn’t do it on this card, but you could use Glossy Accents on the hearts and really make the hearts pop.

This was one of my favorite cards. The name of the stamp is Huggy Squidgies. After I colored the girls – I took a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper. I colored the background with Kuretake Pearl Water Colors.  I love how it came out. Then I took a white card stock paper and splattered the different color watercolors I used on the background. I stamped the quote and cut is out. Added a sweet bow and done! Easy card. That is another fun thing to do is just sit and watercolor papers in different colors. Put them aside and when you need a quick card you have a background.

The last card I did was called The Squidgy on a Journey. I enjoyed making this card because it had a theme. Since this little girl is on a journey it was fun to use the map paper for the background. When you are at the Crafty Scrapper look for fun papers such as maps, music and dictionary type papers to use for theme backgrounds.
