you all that have met me know i love my tacky adhesive but i am open to learning more about other adhesives too - all forms liquid, tape, etc... any tips?
I have usually used either mod podge or the 2 in 1 Zig glue and covered the whole area to be covered. Lately I have been using the Zip Dry glue, and with it, I only do the edge well and then a 'z' or 'x' with it for the center portion. It doesn't really require full coverage.
I am all about scrappy glue - you just can't go wrong with it!
But not the Heidi Swapp brand glue, the Magic Scraps brand glue is better.
Well...I love my ATG gun and since it is always with me, that is what I use the most. I love it. I like using the zip dry glue.
I have used the scrappy glue too Sonia, and like it for a lot of my projects
glue dots to stick down chipboard, so happy about the dispenser. I love the K&Co runner with wacky tack technology. I am still having a love/hate relationship with my ATG.
I have started to use the ATG gun... it works very well with chipboard. It has a really stong hold so there is no changing your mind once you plasce it down.

Ha... I love glue and this was actually a little discussion during one of my classes. Here are all the types I use.
UHU Glue stick for adhering paper to mini album covers and pages
Fabri Tac for adhering ribbon and any of the MR Trinket Blossoms
Collage Pauge Instant Decoupage (Sparkle, Matte and Glossy)
Elmer's No Run (Blue color) Glue for adhering glitter to chipboard embellishments
Scrappy Glue for adhering embellishments to projects
Fiskars Tape Runner for adhering photos
So there you have it... those are all the glues I like to use most often. At times stray off to another brand just to give them a try but I always come back to these listed.
There is a liquid glue that my sister's Houston LSS showed me for chipboard - it's somewhat messy but if you are doing paper on letters and need to cut and such it has a very strong and quick drying hold. It's called YES and it's in a jar like Pond's cold cream. (Am I dating myself?) For my paper to paper and photos to paper I use Kokuyo tape runner - the red permanent one and love, love it. They also make one that is blue that is like Herma dots but much better. I found those tape runners at GASC in Arlington two years ago and I have used I think ALL of them and it's amazing. Super easy refills. Those ATG's just make me think of pricing groceries when I was 16.
