The email went out and sign ups have begun. It is filling fast. If you want to go, call right away(open til 6 tonight and back open at 10am tomorrow). If you are not getting the emails, go to the "shop" tab of the website and sign up through there.

Crafty Scrapper will host the 4th Annual Breast Cancer Crop benefiting the Breast Cancer 3-Day on Saturday, September 13th 2008 from 10am-midnight.

This annual favorite offers scrapbookers a time to enjoy their favorite hobby by cropping for the cure. There will be 14 fun filled hours to laugh with friends, make new friends, and a time to remember or honor loved ones that may have battled the disease of breast cancer.

The price is $65 per person (non-refundable) which includes dinner, snacks, goodies and most of all a good time. Keep watching the website for pictures of the awesome give-aways. (Can you say "signature Dooney & Bourke tote"? It's large enough to carry scrappin' supplies!!) There are only 50 spots available which will fill fast. Reserve a spot today, because there will not be a waiting list.

Laura Megonigal is the organizer of this event and the founder of the "Pink Junkies" 3-day walking team. This will be her 4th year to participate in the 3-day walk.

Thousands of women and men will unite in cities across the country and walk 60 miles over a course of 3 days. It's a weekend of hope, as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, and promote breast cancer research. The Pink Junkies are committed to walk 60 miles in memory of those who died and for those who survived breast cancer. Please let us know if you are a survivor so they can walk for you, or in memory of a loved one.

I don't know how many spaces total there are, but I think they said there were like 8 left or something when I called over there....Said the phone lines were jammed! Next year they might have to get a line like American Idol has JUST for the event (?)_

WOW! I knew they would go fast but that was REALLY fast!!!!!

It was crazy, once I sent the email the phone went crazy. Heidi had to go sit down and just take info on the phone while I waited on the customers. I think we have 42 signed up.

There are some girls CRAZY about the Cancer Crop!!! It was nuts, the phone was a jumpin!!!! It is going to be an awesome crop!

I wanna go, but have to wait until payday to pay my deposit, so guess I will go on the waiting list. It's okay, I always say...if I'm supposed to be there I will get a slot. This is a very worthy cause for sure.

Hey, even if you don't get a "spot" for the whole crop, it is a FUN day to come to the store. You can still participate in a lot of events. There are raffle tickets to buy--which are drawn for great prizes...there are usually some make n takes going on, and you can still visit w the croppers. There will be a boxing ring outside for boxing and taking pictures of people, etc, etc...

Yes, that is true. But I would be like the little kid standing outside the sandbox waiting to play. I would be sad. All of my "dimes" are going to hubby's visit. But, he is worth it for sure.
