Have a Cricut, not sure you know what to do with it? Thinking maybe there is even more than you know how to do? Well, the Cricut is a great tool to have, but one that has so many options it is hard to know how they all work. Come join Heidi and make this layout using only the cricut for the elements. Learn tips and techiniques for using your cricut. Call the store to sign up. All you need to bring is the basic cutter/scissors and adhesive as well as and everything that came in the box with your cricut.

Want to leave information about yourself to others about things you love in life? or maybe you want to record someone else's loves in life. This is a wonderful class for that. Using the Maya Road Long Layer Album and Graphic 45 paper we will document these items beautifully using several techniques. Bring a few pictures representing the items loved, your class kit (ruler, cutter, adhesive) and come learn how to complete this wonderful album.

Crafty Scrapper will host the 4th Annual Breast Cancer Crop benefiting the Breast Cancer 3-Day on Saturday, September 13th 2008 from 10am-midnight. This annual favorite offers scrapbookers a time to enjoy their favorite hobby by cropping for the cure. There will be 14 fun filled hours to laugh with friends, make new friends, and a time to remember or honor loved ones that may have battled the disease of breast cancer. The price is $65 per person (non-refundable) which includes dinner, snacks, goodies and most of all a good time. Keep watching the website for pictures of the awesome give-aways. (Can you say "signature Dooney & Bourke tote"? It's large enough to carry scrappin' supplies!!) Laura Megonigal is the organizer of this event and the founder of the "Pink Junkies" 3-day walking team. This will be her 4th year to participate in the 3-day walk. Thousands of women and men will unite in cities across the country and walk 60 miles over a course of 3 days. It's a weekend of hope as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, and promote breast cancer research. The Pink Junkies are committed to walk 60 miles in memory of those who died and for those who survived breast cancer. Please let us know if you are a survivor so they can walk for you, or in memory of a loved one.

Your event includes 3 meals, snacks, special goodies, make-n-takes throughout the day and a photo taken with your girlfriend in out Pink Knock Out Boxing Ring! This year Isla has out done herself on the raffle prizes, besides all the scrapbook products, we have a Dooney purse, pink digital camera, camera bag, lots of bath stuff, travel bags, breasts cancer Brighton bracelet, Coach breast cancer key chain and lots more. There will also be a separate raffle for a $400 Coach purse. Come help us raise money for something that touches all our lives.

Come make this lovely banner for your home.  We will use techniques such as perfect pearls misting, rub-ons and others.  All supplies are included.  You only need to bring a pencil, scissors and adhesive.  Any of the adhesives will work-tape runner, zip dry, 2 in 1 glue, etc.  Contact the store to sign up.  Calss will be cancelled if less than 5 sign up.  Clidk on the small picture below to see the project better.

"Stories Told by Me" By Lisa M. Pace

 Class Time: Saturday 10:30am    Class Length: 3 Hours        Skill: Intermidate        Cost: $50

This unique 4" binder features "Stories Told by Me." It includes tiny moments in my childhood that I wanted to share with my daughters. You can alter the theme of your album to showcase moments about your childhood, your family, holiday highlights or other special moments with loved ones; it is all up to you. I designed this class with many themes in mind. I want this to be an album that incorporates your style and theme so please feel free to change around the paper designs provided. In this class you will use Rubons, Ric Rac, Buttons and other creative embellishments to accent your photos. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions with color photos for those that like to recreate projects exactly as shown. I just don't want you creative rebels that like to do your own thing feel as though you are locked into my design. This is so not the case. Remember, I'm here to light a creative spark with helpful hints, tips and ideas.

"Our Home"   12 x 12 Layout  By Lisa M. Pace

Class Time: Saturday 2:30pm    Class Length: 1.5 Hours     Skill Level: All Levels     Cost: $35

In this class you will create an adorable whimsical home using templates I created as well as decorative scissors, buttons and embroidery floss. This layout will showcase your family members inside each window. You will need four photos that are approx. 2 inches square. The image size that will be seen is approx. 1.5 inches square.  A few family facts can be kept behind the front door or written along the inner portion of the house. This layout will not only be adorable in an album but also showcased in a shadow box and hung for all to see.

"Time Flies"  6" Circle Coaster Album  By Lisa M. Pace

Class Time: Saturday 4:30pm       Class Length: 2.5 - 3 Hours    Skill: All Levels     Cost: $50.

 The title of my album "Time Flies" is about my youngest daughter Ansley preparing for high school. You can alter the theme of your album to showcase your family, summer highlights or special moments; it is all up to you. I designed it with many themes in mind. This kit includes a complete alphabet package so there are more then enough letters for you to create your own title. I want this to be an album that incorporates your style and theme so please feel free to change around the paper designs provided. I'm here to give you some helpful hints, tips and ideas. Don't get me wrong I have included step-by-step instructions along with color photos in each kit, just don't want you to feel as though you are locked into my design. Let your creativity fly. To me there is nothing better than getting a little creative jump start.

"Family" Triangle Banner Book  By Lisa M. Pace

 Time: Sunday 1:30pm Class Length: 2.5 - 3 Hours  Skill Level: Intermediate   Cost: $50

This "Family" class is full of techniques that can be incorporated into future projects and layouts. You will learn tips on using Crackle Paint, Stickles, Decorative Scissors, Embroidery Floss and Distress Ink. Once you get the hang of these techniques you will want to use them all the time. The techniques are not hard but some are a bit more time consuming than others. Just remind yourself the impact they create on your projects and layouts makes the time spent worth every second. This project is also a two in one. You can either hang your "Family" banner or you can set it on a table as a mini album.  How you decide to display it is up to you. Either way, people are going to love looking at it.

  "Two Sisters" & "Happiness is you!"  2 - 12 x 12 Layout Class   By Lisa M. Pace

Time: Sunday 5:30pm   Class Length: 2 ½ Hours   Skill Level: All Levels    Cost: $50

In this class you will create 2 one page 12 x 12 layouts. Both have their own unique flair and both are created so that those who wish to have double page layouts in their albums can do so after the class by continuing the design onto the following page. Feel free to change the theme of your layout as the papers I picked are very versatile. These papers will work for girls, boys, family etc. In this class you will be using decorative scissors (Fiskars Cloud) as well as black and white pens, velvet flowers, buttons, paint, ink and STICKLES. By now I am sure you have figured out I love anything that sparkles. Please note, Stickles is an option so those that do not care for glitter you have the option to leave this part out.

Its that time, sign up is open for Wendy Vecchi's classes. We met Wendy at Winter CHA and feel in love with her work and personality, plus she became Annette's idol. Since then she has gone to work for Ranger and just released her own line of stamps with Stampers Anonymous. She is also one of the fabulous designers on Maya Road DT. If you have not know what to do with the grunge board, you will be amazed at what she will teach you. Here is list of the classes she will be teaching. Ranger Distress Ink Class $45 Saturday October 11th 10:30am-2pm

Do you have the Distress inks?? Do you use them to their potential?? Are you wondering what else you can do with them? Do you know about the blending tool and the best way to use it? How about those mini misters?? This class is perfect for you... Wendy will share TONS of info  & show you how to use your Distress Inks in this FUN...TECHNIQUES class. She will use the same format that was used @ Ranger U. Each technique will be done on a manila tags & you will leave with a set of tags that makes a wonderful reference for future play. No note taking will be needed, as each tag will be labeled with full instructions on how each technique was done. We'll ink, distress, crackle, emboss & IRON.but don't worry. Ironing is a GOOD thing if you're making art! This is a class you won't want to miss. EACH STUDENT NEEDS TO BRING... A heat tool, Ranger's craft sheet, adhesive for paper, Distress inks/blending tools...if available, I'll supply...the rest!

We'll use some brand new stamps from Stampers Anonymous/studio 490 and combine them with grungeboard and distress inks. You'll leave the class with this ready to hang dimensional...holiday decor piece. Keep it for yourself...or if you can part with it...it would make a great gift. If you haven't stamped on grungeboard yet...you're in for a TREAT! It's the hottest product on the market. Students supplies: Peeled paint, shabby shutters & fired brick, vintage photo & black soot...IF you have them . I'll have some to share too.  Blending tools & craft sheet, Black ink ...Ranger's Jet black Archival works best on grungeboard Scissors for cutting grunge board. Tim's tonic scissors work GREAT! Small bits & pieces work just fine, since the fragments are small. Glaze pen...black ( Sakura) Precision pen (American Crafts) any size you like for doodling. Adirondack black pen Distress inks/applicators...to coordinate with your paper scraps Heat toolOPTIONAL...Ranger's new Inkssentials white penBring your camera. Each journal will be different & VERY inspiring. We'll do a show & tell at the end of class for all to enjoy! Studio 490 Wreath Class $30 Sunday October 12th 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Join us for this fun class. We'll use some brand new stamps from Stampers Anonymous/studio 490 and combine them with grungeboard and distress inks. You'll leave the class with this ready to hang dimensional...home decor piece. Keep it for yourself...or if you can part with it..what a great gift If you haven't stamped on grungeboard...you're in for a TREAT! Just a note...the flower can be customized to coordinate with your decor. Any distress ink color works well. Supplies required by students... Scissors for cutting grungeboard. Tim's tonic scissors work well. Kai scissors are also fine. Ranger's Jet black archival ink. Adhesive for paper. Glossy Accents...I'll bring some too. Craft knife and self healing mat or scissors, if you prefer. American Crafts precision pen for doodling. If you have Peeled Paint distress ink & the blending tool, bring that & a color for your flowers. I'll bring plenty to share too.

Recycle, ReUse, Repurpose. You will be doing all of this and more in this class. You will take an old LP (long play) Record and Album Jacket (cover) and turning it into a Fabulous Book. To complete the look, the class will do several other techiniques on this book including using the bind-it-all, heat embossing with UTEE, perfect pearls, chalk inks and others.

An album will be provided for the class, but if you have a particular one you want to use, you should bring your own. Other supplies needing to be brought: exacto type knife, scissors, adhesive (any type)
